Do Nothing- Poem

I've started trying out different outputs of expression for my political views. My first poem is called "Do Nothing"

Do nothing; let it be,
You will not change what you cannot see,
Our nation is perfect,
Our nation is free,
Don’t let your truth corrupt you and me.

No need to write, no need to read,
Happiness and joy is all you need,
Our nation is perfect,
Our nation is freed,
It is so pleasant, now we have agreed.

There’s no sense in truth, no sense in doubt
Dissent, as we know, is a fancified pout
Our nation is perfect
Our nation’s on route
To bliss- something we can’t do without

You call it blindness, I call it might
We cannot thrive you all put up a fight
Our nation is perfect
Our nation is bright
What’s in our nation is always right

So always do nothing; just let it be,
You will not change what you cannot see,
My nation is perfect,
My nation is free,
When you see resistance, I see anarchy.
